Ay'indri's hands shook a little whilst keeping them upon the controls. The small fox seemed to have her attention on the task at hand. Looking down, she saw Aiu fiddling with the bandage on her thigh. With a little growl of renewed pain at the added pressure, Ay'indri shook a little at the medic's question. Did she have friends? They were a liability in her line of work. That and she'd never been too personable, to begin with. Although a frown formed upon her lips. Family. A sore spot for her. Her parents were kind, gentle and understanding when it came to their daughter. It made her a little uncomfortable when attention was lavished upon her to the point it reminded her of her deceased sibling.

He'd been the eldest. He'd been gone for almost a decade now, his cause of death attributed to an 'accident' but she knew what had happened. Netrunu'marol, an all Laibe faction of terrorists had raided her family's claim holdings and he'd simply got in the way. Ay'indri gulped, her eyes misting through the pain of her physical wound just as much as the mental scarring upon her psyche.

It was the bloodloss she told herself. The crack in her normally silent, stoic demeanor. With a grunt of throbbing pain, the agent kept her drooping eyes upon the screens.

"I have no friends," she stated in a matter of fact tone, well, as much of one as she could muster. Though all she could do was mutter incoherently about her mother and father. It was uncomfortable to talk about her life, or so she thought as red spots of crimson began to seep through the newer layer of gauze and bandage. A shudder rumbled through the ship as her grip weakened on the controls. With an audible inhalation, Ay'indri gripped them harder, sparing a glance to Aiu, and then back to the readouts.

Aiu rushed through the door onto the bridge, bumping against the door frame as she tried to keep her balance. Her task was immediately apparent upon arrival. She ran up to Ay'indri and looked over her injury.

"Bleeding through the bandage, possible femoral artery tear," Aiu muttered out loud. She's lasted this long, so it might not be. She swiftly pulled out a thick set of gauze pads, then pressed them tightly on top of the old bandages. Removing the old ones could disturb blood that's already clotting and make things worse. She then tightly wrapped some medical tape around the gauze to firmly hold it in place. With one hand, she fished for a field tourniquet out of her medical pack as she put pressure on the wound with the other. If the bleeding didn't stop, she'd have the tourniquet ready.

"Please talk to me, Ay'indri. I need you to stay alert. Tell me about your family or friends."

Ay'indri, Or'ion Agent, now pilot shivered as she clung desperately to the ship's nav-controls. All she saw was the pale blue of this unknown world's skies, the fluff of clouds and the dark aquatic colors of an oncoming sea overtaking the horizon. Feeling the Ship Mistress' hands atop her own helped. They steadied her shivering appendages whilst fighting to keep them from crashing headfirst into a vast expanse of water. Feeling a chill raced up and down her spine, the focks agent tilted the controls back a little more.

Her adjustments were made to try and buffer the waiting blow from smacking into the sea into something a little more manageable.  Her heart raced, not so much from blood loss, but simply experiencing a feeling of vertigo as she watched the viewscreen. They may survive the crash. Or at the very least some of them depending on how water-tight everything was on such a damaged vessel

The ships bow slowly eased upward thanks to Ay'indri's determination, Chi'ka kept her hands on Ay's but she felt her own strength slowly waning due to the struggle. "Just a little more," she remarked as she watched the altitude gauge out of the corner of her eye. They had less than thirty seconds and currently ahead was a sea of water.

Ay'indri's skin would feel cool, clammy with an even paler cast to it than normal. The small fox was breathing rapidly but in shallow breaths. Weakness suffused her limbs to the point of trembling. She was tired, she wanted to sleep. To rest her weary head. But, some small part of her knew that doing so meant death. Her hands almost slipped from the controls which caused the ship to shudder along with its impromptu pilot. Chi'ka's hands helped, but she was fighting a losing battle even as she fought her own body to keep their decent steady.

The agent could feel her heart beating quicker, the elevated thumping sounding off in her fur-covered ears. With a shaky hand, Ay'indri pressed a button, then another, fighting every inch of the way to soften their decent to the approaching ground. The console warned her that the bow was dipping lower, but her eyesight had blurred to the point of blinking rapidly as she tried to make heads or tails of the words. Soft lashes and eyelids fluttered as they to decided to dip lower, and lower.

Ay'indri shook her head once more, lips trembling as she tried to speak, "B-Bow s-s-s-ection too l-" she couldn't finish the thought as confusion dampened whatever relevant thought had formed in her mind. Her head dipped forward and came back up before shaking her head in a bid to shake the cobwebs. It just wasn't enough.

Aiu quietly followed Micalio and Barbanov towards the escape pods until the sudden order for a medic echoed over the ship's speakers. Her good ear perked up as she stopped with a small slide before turning and sprinting the opposite direction towards the bridge.

"Sorry, duty calls!" she shouted back, a little too chipper considering the message.

Chi'ka bolted the rails and over to Ay'indri, "bloody hell," she remarked as she tapped the console. "Medic to the bridge!" the ships loud speakers bellowed as Chi'la placed her hands on those of the agents to keep her course steady.

The display showed the vessel on a gradual descent, it was a bit on the low side but Chi'ka figured losing a little bit of the forward section was better than trying to force an injured agent to do more. "Just keep her steady," the shipmistress said into the agents ear.

'And you call yourself a Shipmistress?!' Ay'indri wanted to shout back in retort. The grumbly fox grumbled even more as her pale skin was bathed in the blue glow of a holographic interface. Finally! Something was g- '*Pop!*. The interface fizzled out leaving the Or'ion agent with the bittersweet, almost fatalistic view of their impending future. Her balled fists found the sleek console with an angry shout. She had been trained to kill, to seek out the Kingdom's enemies and destroy them. Not this!

Worry and pangs of urgency flipped in the pit of her tummy as she quickly gave the console another look. The screen showed the interface was down, for the moment or for forever. But there was another option. It flashed and bleated in red. The manual flight controls. One of her delicate fingers rammed down on the control with all force she could muster. Manual control was granted. With hands shaking from near panic and adrenaline, Ay'indri began by trying to level out the ship with the emergency thrusters, and ensure the vessel didn't snap in two. Hopefully, with the computer's assistance, she next activated Gravitic engine once more.

Except for this time, she'd have to manually go about trying to keep them aloft, or even try to land the rickety thing on some solid ground. She could fly a shuttle with ease, except the Kestrire'alis-class Recon Ship had several million metric tons and was infinitely more complex than a  simple shuttlecraft.

Her fingers tapped on the console rapidly, sliding along the interface for the amount of 'thrust' and 'lift' from the engine all the while fighting to try to keep it level and not to take a nosedive. Her vision continued to blur, and the feel of cold tickled her skin. The small fox tried shaking her head, willing herself to continue. But it was a losing battle. Even with the bandage she was losing blood at a rate in which she'd not last much longer. Ay'indri's eyes grew wide a she looked to the shipmistress, "I-I don't know if I can-can keep thi...this up." her words slurred as she gestured to her thigh. The bandage was bright red and more blood dripped down the torn pants leg as she panted.

"But, but!" Aiu babbled as Micalio pulled her away from her suicidal sense of duty. The collapsing ceiling and crashing commotion helped knock some sense into the passionate fox. She stopped resisting Micalio's tugging and let herself be escorted out of the commissary. I can't save others if I'm dead, she repeated to herself almost like a mantra she didn't believe in.

Once outside, she let out a meek thank you as her hand was released. She quietly jogged up next to Micalio and obediently followed the engineer down the shaking halls towards the escape pods.

"Welcome to the club, neither have I!" Chi'ka would shout as plopped herself in front of the ships tactical console, attempting to divert some power to the shields.

Ay'indri would find herself bathed in a bluish glow as the ships holographic systems engaged, there was a brief 'pop' as the ship suddenly lurched forward. The systems coming online and engulfing the fox in a blue sphere of holographic energy.

This sphere stayed for a few seconds, before the system fizzled out, an additional alert flashed across the touch screen; warning Ay'indri that the holographic flight system was offline.

Data scrolled across the screen, one moment the ship was reported to be in space - and another - it was in atmosphere. This was backed up when the ship began to accelerate. Data showed that they were sixty five kilometers from the planets surface and rapidly descending.

Whether due to the ships shear size, or some other unexplained force, the prow of the vessel punched a hole through the planetary shield - sending the ship into the planets atmosphere. It was followed close behind by dozens of smaller ships each one attempting to latch onto the ships hull but failing due to the ships speed and atmospheric re-entry.

Parts of the ships outer hull peeled away from the re-entry. Emergency containment barriers engaged over some of the ships hull breaches - but not everywhere.

The group made it out of the room just as parts of the floor began to crumble away, ceiling tiles came clutters down. The containment barrier flickered numerous times as debris slammed into it, alternating between shades of blue and red.
